Dogwood Realty, Inc. is a corporation owned and operated by two licensed brokers: Howard Scott and Kelli Lucas. Howard has many years experience as a REALTOR, a tax consultant, and an engineer. Kelli, the managing broker, has many years experience as a REALTOR, business owner, and an appraiser.
The company was formed in March of 2006, located in Orleans to better serve the Orange County growth and be centrally located between that growth area and the larger city area of Bedford for the main office area; but most of our agents live inside and serve Lawrence County. We have weathered this economic storm and just the other day had 7 pending sales on the sales board.
The company has had great success in marketing and selling homes to middle class America. We sell anyone's property, not just our listings. The customer tells us what is needed and we go out and find the property for them. Additionally, we handle property management and have our own rental homes to offer for sale on rent-to-own terms.
We are strong member of the community. We would be a member of an Orange County MLS if they had one. We are working with the Chamber of Commerce in Orleans to be a good community sponsor. We are a member of the Mitchell Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Bedford MLS. The owners are active in 4H, Habitat for Humanity, and local schools.
